She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Barbaric and Mary Barbaric. She is survived by: her husband John N. Barclay of Lake St; her children, Andrew Barclay (Beverley Barclay) of Orillia and Tammy Desroches (Shane Nixon) of Courtice; her grandchildren, Mackenzie (Brad Harper), Mitchell (Emily Barclay), Conner Desroches and Summer Desroches; her great grandchildren, Brooks, Calvin, Scotlyn and Sierra; and her siblings, Steven (Merna Barbaric) and Maryann (Joe Yurchi).

Even during the challenging times of the COVID pandemic, Janice selflessly stepped up to assist in testing and vaccinations until her final retirement in March 2024.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
