Iris Evelyn Sargent Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2025, Iris Evelyn Sargent (Oshawa, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Iris Evelyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Iris Evelyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James; the mother of her child Jane (Stuart); her sons, Michael, Richard (Kim) and Peter (Alicia); and her grandchildren, Trent (Kristen), Chad (Ally), Lorin (Jamie), Glenalan (Anouk) and Alexandria (Cameron).

Donations in memory of Iris to Alzheimer Society of Durham Region would be appreciated.
