She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Stephanie (Rob), Mike (Denise) and Mark (Erica); her grandchildren, Jesse, Nathan and Travis; her brothers, Walter (Irene) and Roman (Patricia); her mother Anna Szagala; and her husband Bohdan.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations kindly be made to St. George's Ukrainian Church, Oshawa.
