He was predeceased by: his former wife Mia. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Robert (Michèle), John (Donna) and Connie Rechanicz (John); his stepchildren, Jeffery Ross (Kristyne) and Jennifer Hamilton (Marcus); his grandchildren, Josh, Caitlin (Matt), Matthew, Jordan, Colin, Christine, Matthias, Samuel, Gabriel, James and Ira; and his siblings, Truus, John, Henry, Bernie, Bill, Ann, Mia, Joanne and Andy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, ON L1R3L4).
