He was predeceased by: his wife Silvia; and his siblings, Edith and Dieter. He is survived by: his children, Peggy Dimock (Brian), Kim Siddiqui (Ghous), Frank (Joanne) and Eric (Tina); his grandchildren, Vanessa, Lindsay, Sofia, Alison, Deanna, Hamid, Nicholas, Jason, Craig and Alexandra; his nephew Norbert Strahl; and his niece Karin Geiselhart. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
