It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Joseph Meraw (Oshawa, Ontario), born in Walkerton, Ontario, who passed away on March 5, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Meraw and Margaret Meraw; and his siblings, Wilfred, Larry, Lou, Michael and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Catherine (Rick), Robert, Thomas (Corinne) and Michelle (Robert); and his brother Pat (Jane). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bert may be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, or a charity of choice.
