With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Germaine Rose MacKinnon (Oshawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 13, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Germaine Rose departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Germaine Rose may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Germaine Rose leaves behind.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Arthur MacKinnon; and her children, Patrick (Gloria), Robert (Susan), Judy McCrudden (Robert) and David. She was also cherished by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
