Gerard Bylaard Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerard Bylaard (Oshawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Bylaard and Marie Bylaard; and his brother Hannie Capiteyn. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bylaard; his children, Dena Marie Duchesne (Eric) and G. John Bylaard (Olga); his grandchildren, Noah, Luke, Leigha Duchesne, Benjamin and Charlie Bylaard; his sister Adrianna Veenstra; and his sister-in-law Martha Veldhuizen.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
