He was predeceased by: his daughter Sandra; and his brothers, William, Jack and Darryl. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Darren (Krista), Rod (Patricia), Ryan (Lisa), Sally (John) and Marcy (Jay); his grandchildren, Morgan, Madison, Emily, Kailyn, Braydon, Rylee, William, Jessica, Tegan and Dylan; and his sister Pat of Edmonton.
