He was predeceased by: his siblings, George, Martha, Llewelyn, Edward, Albert, Herbert, Irene, Sidney and Winnie.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Larry, Bonnie, Beverly, Terry, Ernie Jr. and Amanda; his grandchildren, Tommy, Chad, Adam, Joshua, Tamarai, Kristen, Sydney, Isabella, Sarah, Sophia, Hannah and Elizabeth; his great grandchildren, Dylan, Bentley, Ella, Lily and Cooper; and his brother Donny Reid.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, ON L1R3L4).
