He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Herman Kerr and Hazel Louisa Kerr; and his siblings, Russell Kerr (Iris), Doreen Jeanpretre (Norbert) and Elaine Parker.
He is survived by: his children, Heather (Steve), Kathleen (Stuart) and Philip (Sean); his grandchildren, Adrienne (Yussef), Ryan (Virginia), Wendy (Mark), Alyson (Steve), Max, Benjamin, Lola, Aveline, Jack, Nathan, Isabella and Sullivan; his brother Bruce Kerr (Hazel); his brother-in-law Douglas Parker; and his wife Sheila. He is also survived by his children, and eventually his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
