He was predeceased by: his wife Pearl; his parents, Gertrude and William; and his brother Jack. He is survived by: his brothers, William (Bill) and George (Lee); his sister-in-law Mabel MacKenzie (Peter); his children, Brenda (Rick), Glenn and Wayne; his grandsons, Brandon and James (Cecilia); his great grandchildren, Sofia and Ella; and his cousin Ringwood. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Dave's life was marked by his dedication to his family, his friends and his home, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and generosity.
