With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell Howard Scott (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on March 11, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his goddaughter Sarah; his siblings, Beatrice (late Dave), Vincent, Ronald and Donna; his parents, Donald and Dorothy; and his siblings-in-law, Charlie and Alice Stone.

He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Darren and Darcy (Suzie); his grandchildren, Trevor, Ethan and Kierra; his godchildren, Adam and Samantha; his siblings, Jennie, Phyllis (Bun), Joan (Harry), Bonita (Bob), Barbara Ann (Ron), Gail (late Dave), Judy (Jim) and Dale (Gail); and his sisters-in-law, Jean (late Dan) and Shirley.

“Darrell was a work mate of mine at the Oshawa Dairy in the early 60s but he was more than that. He was a good friend and I am so very sad that he's gone. It's been over 60 years and we've moved on to live our lives but on rare occasions we've come together (like at the funeral of our old boss, Grant Hart) and the conversation flowed like we'd never been apart.
