He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Fanning and Charles Fanning; and his siblings, John Fanning, Eileen Walker (Joseph) and Mary Rose Hickson (Joseph).
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Janice (David), Dan (Cheri), Kathleen (Steve), John (Crystal) and Patti; his grandchildren, Shawn, Kevin (Ksenia), Rianna, Bryan (Lucy), Brendan (Lauren), Nicole (Mat), Richard (Brittany), Liam (Chantel) and Jessica (Travis); and his siblings-in-law, Bill (Irene), Ted (Linda) and Lynda. He is also survived by his many nieces nephews and friends.
