He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Doreen Wood and Benjamin Wood; his wife Betty Ann; his grandchildren, Gilbert (Karen), Maggie Benjamin and Simon; his children, Tina (Nick Brown), Nicholas Wieringa, Christopher Wieringa, Ryleigh Brown, Lori (Jason Feddema), Andrew, Sam and Lizzy Feddema; his close friend Bob Marshall; and his cousins, Sue, Joanna, Yvonne, Barry, Steve, Dennis, Elaine and Pat. He was also cherished by his numerous nieces, nephews.
