Eldon C. Atkinson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eldon C. Atkinson of Oro, Ontario, who passed away on October 25, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley; his siblings, Gordon (late Ruth) and Leona Dinsmore (late Ross); his siblings-in-law, Margaret, Robert Sinclair and J. Allan Rix (Beverly); and his parents, George Washington Atkinson and Ethel Winnifred Atkinson.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Travis (late Robin), Mary Butler (Paul Kane) and Donald Atkinson (Birgit); his grandchildren, Jason Travis (Christy), Sarah Lyon (Jason), Katie Butler (Patrick Cernea), Robert Butler, Christopher Atkinson and Ingrid Atkinson (Andrew Porter); his great grandchildren, Logan, Bailey Travis, Avery and Kaitley Lyon; and his sisters-in-law, Georgina Lackie (late Robert) and Carol Rix. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
