He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Mavis and Ernest Mavis. He is survived by: his sons, Brian (Steven Stauff) of Lansing Michigan, Michael (Janet) of Almonte Ontario and Mark (René Gélinas) of Mandeville Quebec; his grandchildren, Gillian and Derek; his pets, Biscuit and Pippin; and his siblings, Clifford, Joan Lacelle and Gloria Irvine (Barry) of Ottawa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
