It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Arthur Swinimer (Orillia, Ontario), born in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Hilda Swinimer; and his siblings, Elaine Demont, Joan Nauss and Jack Swinimer. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Jennifer Silvester (Tim), Dan Swinimer (Elaina) and Amanda Swinimer; his grandchildren, Madeleine, Eva Silvester, Jesse (Kirsten), Sadie, Grayson Swinimer, Mahina and Nesika Burley; his great grandchildren, Nala and Emme Swinimer; his sister Rae Sawler; his sister-in-law Pat Orriss (David); and his caregivers, Grace, Reggie, Renzi, Edna, Reizel, Aileen, Ninette, Wendy and Bill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, The Couchiching Conservancy, or South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.
