It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Woodrow (Orillia, Ontario), who passed away on December 24, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray Woodrow and Isobel Woodrow; his in-laws, Allan and Eleanor Beausoleil; and his siblings, Patricia Munro, Isabel Woodhouse, Sandra Elliott and Clifford Woodrow.
He is survived by: his wife Alanna (Beausoleil); his stepson Rob Craw (Cyndy); his children, Laura Woodrow (John Lapp), Lisa Pokorny (Nick) and Matthew (Farren); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Goldsworthy, Bobby Craw (Tori), K. C. Craw, Lexi Downard (Cam Provenzano), Jessica Downard (Travis Duddy), Julia Downard (Matt Liddard), Alekzandr, Marek Pokorny and Carter Woodrow; his great grandchildren, Lokley, Ayla and Violet; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Woodrow and John Beausoleil (Kathy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street.
