He was predeceased by: his wife June Taylor-Pierce. He is survived by: his children, Terry Pierce (Andrea) and Michael Pierce (Mandy); his grandchildren, Seamus and Hudson; and his family, Peter and Geri Minialoff.

Known for his passionate hockey stories, defining contributions to GTHL and OMHA hockey and countless volunteer hours with Civitan.
