She was predeceased by: her brother Robin; her parents, Wilson Simcoe and Cora Simcoe; and her son Maxwell. She is survived by: her husband Robert Beers; her children, Amanda Beers (Clive) and Bob Beers (Shelley); her grandchildren, Rylee, Kamryn, Holden, Ashlyn, Lexi and Hudson; her siblings-in-law, Sandy (Randy), Jim (Barb) and Rick; and her pet Beej (Jack).
