We bid farewell to Melville Richard Mawdsley (Orillia, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 6, 2024 at the age of 90. Melville touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Ann; his son Brian Mawdsley (Sue); and his siblings, Glen (Dianne), Shirley Gogol (Wendell), Ollie Henry (Jim) and Norma Thor (Kris).

He is survived by: his children, Janice Mawdsley, Rosanne Kwiecien (Scott) and Jason Mawdsley (Helen); his grandchildren, Billy (Ingrid), Felicia (Joey), Cairine, Joy, Kaitlin (Rob), Haley, Eddie, Jacob and Sarah (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Raymen, Lincoln, Xavier, Melville and Malcolm; and his siblings, Jean Cote, Jack (Marlene), Mary Cochrane (Earl) and Dorothy McIlravey (Chuck).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Mariposa House Hospice would be gratefully appreciated.
