Maria Arruda Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Arruda (Orillia, Ontario), who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Hermano Benevides Arruda; her children, Jean "Pierre" Arruda (JP) and Susan Taylor (Todd); her grandchildren, Colin Arruda (Danielle), Gabrielle and Malcolm Taylor; and her siblings, Manuel Sousa, Joao Sousa (Joanna), Fernando Sousa (Conceicao) and Neves (Jose Laurenio). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to the Alzheimer's Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
