With solemn reverence, we commemorate Lolkje Greidanus (Orillia, Ontario), whose life came to an end on November 4, 2024 at the age of 97, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Douwe Gietema and Trÿntje Gietema; and her brothers, Rients, Hessel, Wierd and Jan Gietema.
She is survived by: her siblings, Maiike Seffinga, Jeltje and Hartog-Gietema; her spouse Feite Greidanus (Fred); and her children, Pieter (Kim), Don (Kathleen), Nynka Greer, Joan Horlings (Harm), Richard, Stuart (Kim), Len (Colleen), Wayne (Ilda) and Neil (Evelyn). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. James Cemetery (320 Coldwater Rd W, Orillia, ON L3V3M1). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Heritage Hall, Holland Christian Homes, Brampton.
