She was predeceased by: her parents, Douwe Gietema and Trÿntje Gietema; and her brothers, Rients, Hessel, Wierd and Jan Gietema.
She is survived by: her siblings, Maiike Seffinga, Jeltje and Hartog-Gietema; her spouse Feite Greidanus (Fred); and her children, Pieter (Kim), Don (Kathleen), Nynka Greer, Joan Horlings (Harm), Richard, Stuart (Kim), Len (Colleen), Wayne (Ilda) and Neil (Evelyn). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
