He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Thorne and Anne Thorne; and his brother Lloyd Thorne. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Thorne; his children, Wendy Thorne and Gary Thorne (Jennifer Fox); his grandson James (Chelsea); his great grandchild Roselyn; and his siblings, Gwen Best (Robert) and Laurie Blue. He is also survived by his family and friends.
