We bid farewell to Lambertus Vandekuyt (Orillia, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 24, 2025. Lambertus touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Marie VandeKuyt; his children, Bert (Deb) of Kitchener, Derek (Patti) of Livonia, Michigan, Jason and Andrew; his grandchildren, Lara, Ethan, Kody and Zachary; and his sisters, Eve (late Hank), Maria (John) and Wilma (John).
He is survived by: his siblings, Corrie (Bert), Harry (Anne), George (Liz) and John.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Simcoe Funeral Home (38 James St E, Orillia, ON L3V1L1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Living Hope Christian Reformed Church (50 Fittons Rd W, Orillia, ON L3V3T9).
Memorial donations to Orillia Christian School would be appreciated by the family.
