He is survived by: his wife Susan Russell; his children, Tanya Sullivan (Steve), Ryan Russell (Shannon) and Scott Rumgay (Amanda); his grandchildren, Dakota, Caleb, Emma, Jayden, Charlie, Jocelyn and Daisy; and his siblings, Margaret Smith (Wayne), Linda Hannath (Bill) and Glen Russell (Joyce).
