Though Joe may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his son David MacBurnie (Caitlin). He is survived by: his family, Lori Sweeney, Janet and Ron Wyant; his children, Jonathon Haste, Brittany Wyant (Matt) and Taylor Maybee (Chris); his grandsons, Jackson and Nathaniel; and his friend Tammy Demers.
A reception was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Simcoe Funeral Home (38 James St E, Orillia, ON L3V1L1).
