He was predeceased by: his wife Birdie Canning; and his son George. He is survived by: his children, Lorne (Gail) of Severn Bridge, Carl, Heather Dingwall of Orillia, Keith (Charlene) of Orillia, Karen Marriott (Tim) of Orillia, Phillip (Barb) of Minesing, Morris of Orillia and Barry (Karen) of Orillia; his grandchildren, Crystal (Peter), Chad (Emily), Brent, Alicia, Matthew (Yvonne), Laura, Amanda (Michael), Cassandra (Ethan), Bridgette and Travis; and his great grandchildren, Alex, Evie and Adrian.
