He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Heather Downs; his child Hillary Downs; his grandson Hudson Downs; his sisters, Sharon Blunt (Doug) and Marilyn Friesen (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Chris Rostance (Cathy) and Laurie Stephen (Dave). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
