With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Glenn Christopher Stronks (Orillia, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Glenn Christopher left this world on February 14, 2025 at the age of 65, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his father Derk Stronks; his father-in-law Simon Kouwenhoven; and his siblings-in-law, Stephen Kouwenhoven and Franciska Kouwenhoven. He is survived by: his mother Wilma Stronks; his wife Joanne Stronks; his children, Joshua Stronks (Shannon), Kenzie, Rylee and Amanda Stronks; his brothers, Henry Stronks (Diane), Rick Stronks (Kelly) and Ed Stronks (Barb); his sister-in-law Wendy Lapierre (Philip); and his mother-in-law Martha Kouwenhoven. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Simcoe Funeral Home (38 James St E, Orillia, ON L3V1L1). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Living Hope Christian Reformed Church (50 Fittons Rd W, Orillia, ON L3V3T9).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lifewater Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society, both organizations were close to Glenn's heart.
