She was predeceased by: her husband Walter James Thorburn; her daughter Janet Newman (Michael) of Capreol; and her siblings, Mae, Chester, Bill, Bruce, Joyce, John and Wayne.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Tordiff (Bruce) of Bass Lake; and her grandchildren, Brian (Charlotte), Jeff (Sherry), Kim (Dave) and Darryl (April). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
