He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Jessie Nieuwpoort (Mandy Dahmer) and Nathan Symes (Jaclyn Black); his grandchildren, Kristen, Savana Symes, Sawyer and Rhys Nieuwpoort; his nephew Jason Seamont; and his niece Jennifer Seamont.
