She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Montgomery and Janet Montgomery; her husband Larry Johnston; her grandchildren, Aimee (Kelly), Molly (Garrett), Bailey and Andrew; her great grandchild Jensen; her siblings, Ron (Melba), Gary (Phyllis), Gail Boyd (Charles), Carl (Carol) and Barry; and her siblings-in-law, Marie (Peter), Judy (Steve) and Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Darryl Johnston (Leanne) and Kimberley Latour (Robert); her great grandchildren, Hudson, Rilynn, Bennett and Hayden; her siblings, Gordon (Barb), Dorothy Holenski, Ray (Donna), Delreda (Peter), Shirley Kitchen (Rod), John (late Linda) and Bonnie; and her siblings-in-law, Marlene (late Norm), John (late Marilyn), Bob (late Debbie) and Steven (Terrie). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A celebration of Donna's life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Wednesday August 28th, 2024, from 12noon until 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will be held at St. Andrew's St. James' Cemetery, Orillia As an expression of sympathy memorial donations my be made to Mariposa House Hospice, or to Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital (NICU or/ pediatrics).
