He was predeceased by: his parents, William Balkwill and Velma Balkwill; and his siblings, Art, Shirley Hardy, Bev and Merna Stagg.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley; his sons, Michael (Tracy), Paul (Kelly), Dan (Peggy) and Peter (Tracey); his grandchildren, Ashley, Michelle, Craig, Kyle, Courtney, Nicole, Kristi, Cody, Curtis, Khole, Chris and Emma; and his siblings, Bob (Donna), Betty Jorgenson (late Dick), Marilyn Paine (late Art), Walter and Elaine Hanson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
