He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hicks and Dorothy Hicks; and his siblings, Jack Hicks (Roxie), Suzanne Goold (Murray) and Melanie Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his son Stephen; his sibling Dale Hicks (Diane); and his nieces and nephews, B. C. and Alta.
