In the sacred silence of farewell, Cathie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Cathie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene. She is survived by: her children, Doug (Jennifer), Dave (Tracy) and Nancy; and her grandchildren, Shannon (Cody), Taylor (Matthew), Kristie, Hannah (Philip), Elizabeth (Gunner) and Spencer (Brad). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada in Cathie's memory.
