He was predeceased by: his children, Cindy Drake (David) and Alvin Sheard Jr.; his stepchildren, Angie Larocque (Brian), Kevin Larocque (TerryLynn) and Amanda Larocque (Ryan); his grandchild Bubba of Little David; his stepgrandchildren, Shawna, Jacob, Hailey, McKenzie, Mya, Nathan and Madison; his siblings, Elizabeth "Liz" and Doug; and his parents, Charles Sheard and Ella Sheard.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sheard; his children, Dwayne Sheard (late Julie) and Serlena Greenwood (Mike); his grandchildren, Brandy, Josh, Mitchell, Travis, Robert, Ryan and Rannie; his stepgrandparents, Ocean, Leighton, Owen, Landen, Kayden and Lily; and also Jack.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Simcoe Funeral Home (38 James St E, Orillia, ON L3V1L1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Atherley Cemetery.
