She was predeceased by: her husband John Simmonds; her great grandchild Brock; and her siblings, Jean and Bob. She is survived by: her daughters, Shelley Parkin (Graham) and Linda Simmonds; her grandchildren, Kendra (Jon), Nicole (Tim), Matthew (Larissa), Keisha (Alfredo) and Torrissa (Devon); her great grandchildren, Leah, Madison, Charlotte and Sophie; and her sisters, Carol, Sharon and Marie. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
