With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred Hill (Orangeville, Ontario), born in Tillsonburg, Ontario, who passed away on June 17, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Genge Hill (Darnley); and his son Robert (Caroline) of California. He is survived by: his children, John of California, Todd of Waterloo and Kelly of Elora; his grandchildren, Josh, Jesse, Avery, Delaney, Arthur and Conrad; and his sister Beatrice Brough (Alex). He is also survived by his nieces & nephews, and many relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (14 Cemetery Rd, Orangeville, ON L9W2Z1). A reception was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8). A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Memorial.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Headwaters Health Care Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
