He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gene Parkinson and Louie Parkinson (Stoneman); his parents-in-law, Dee and Vicki Mercer (Viau); his siblings, Gord Parkinson (Lorna) and Andy Parkinson (Doreen); his sister-in-law Waneta Mercer; his children, Trish Bell (Andy), Grant Parkinson (Joanna Ivasiuk) and Dean Parkinson (Michaela); his grandchildren, Ivy Bell (Spencer Rusk), Eva Bell and Kailey-Anne Parkinson; and his wife Lorraine.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre (21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8).
