Bill Young Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Young (Orangeville, Ontario), who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his in-laws, Bob Rea and Marilyn Rea; and his parents, Frances and Carrick. He is survived by: his wife Wilma (Rea); his children, Kelly (Shaine Moore), Krista (Mike Parke) and Michael (Christa Jewell); his grandchildren, David Young (Samantha), Mikayla Jewel (Kyle), Carrick, Paige Moore, Kaleb and Joseph Parke; his sister Beth Cole; and his in-laws, Isabel and Gordon.

Memorial donations may be made to Alliston and District Humane society, High Country United Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

“Bill was my best friend for over 80 years. We played model cars in the sand pit on the farm and later I worked for his father Carrick. although I moved away I was back in Mono Centre every summer and B always got together with Bill and Wilma. I’m so glad we were able to meet in July. Bill was a great friend.”
