He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Velma McConnell and Leonard McConnell; his children, Danielle (David Wick), Sheri-Lynn (Francis Manly-Elliott), Brandon Hogg (Aleehsha), Angela (Erick Schnieders) and Pete Poisson (Lisa); his grandchildren, Blake, Jesse, Phoenix, Ace, Terrance, Sydney, Grace, Raylan and Malakai; and his siblings, Gwen (Steve Bartlett), Gail (Ted Gibson) and Kevin (Lynn McConnell). He was also cherished by his other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations to the Sick Kids Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
