He was predeceased by: his parents, Reta Thomas and Francis Thomas; his siblings, Frankie, Francine, Dave, Melvin, Debbie, Merle, Denise, Anita and John; and his son-in-law Randy.

He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Kate (Chris), Mark, Cody (Danny), Casey (Doyle) and Kim; his grandchildren, Logan, Marie, Sonny, Lyndsay, Silas, Anna-May, Wray, Nikki, Sarah, Cameron, Tyton and Myles; his siblings, Shireen, Doug and Frank (Betty); and his siblings-in-law, Norma, Marion, Carman, Donna and Wilma.
