She was predeceased by: her son Sonny; her parents, Maurice Longboat and Dora Longboat; and her siblings, Albert, Les, Art, Dave, Larry (Debbie) and Ruby.

She is survived by: her son Shane (Hilary); her grandsons, Sonny Jr. and Parker; and her siblings, Darryl (Joy), Frank (Dawn), Earl, Mary (Scott) and Laurie (late Darrel). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
