He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lillian Longboat and George Longboat; his wife Diane; his children, Monica (late Bill Clause), George, Terry Marsh (Bobby), Kelly, Jason (Pearl), Robert, Darren and Lisa; and his friend Herbert Garlow. He was also cherished by 21 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and some great great grandchildren.
He was aware that a memorial service would be held at a later date when Covid restrictions would be lifted.
