He was predeceased by: his son Douglas Burley; his parents, Elmer Burley and Monica Burley; and his brothers, Elmer Jr. Burley, Don Burley and Roy Burley.

He is survived by: his wife Sheila (Davis); his daughters, Joyce Savage (late Rob) of Newburgh and Jennifer Cole (Charles) of Napanee; his grandchildren, Abagale and Neil; and his brother Leonard Burley (late Gabrielle) of Newburgh. He is also survived by his 5 great grandchildren, his nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
