She was predeceased by: her siblings, Stanley, Lola, Sidney, Pauline, Sharon, Nancy and Peter; her parents, Edmund Peeling and Muriel Peeling; and her father-in-law Lorne "Ted" Smart.

She is survived by: her husband Darryl Smart; her children, Samantha (Dwayne) and Eric; her grandchildren, Sloan and Brinnly; her siblings, Luke (Linda) of Shannonville, Patricia of Tyendinaga, Joe (Kay) of Picton, Judy (Don) of Hanover, June of Alberta, Bill (Lynn) of Ingersoll, Diane of Alberta, Susan (Gary) of Belleville and Steven of Alberta; her mother-in-law Jacqueline Smart; and also Pam's Flower Garden. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
