She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Allan Dafoe; her daughter Anna Rose; her parents, Rev. Nelson Peters and Nellie Peters; her brothers, David and Carroll Peters; her children, Cheryl Bennett (Warren), Heather Peterson (Rodney) and Deene (Amanda); her grandchildren, Christopher Bennett (Pam), Melonie Bennett, Heidi Davis (Alistair), Aaron Peterson (Brittany), Sydney, Gavin and Ryan Dafoe; her great grandchildren, Andrew, Caleb, Brianna Bennett, William, Abigail Davis, Kaiden, Jensen and Averella Peterson; and her sisters, Winnifred and Linda. She was also cherished by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Payne Funeral Home (178 Main St, Odessa, ON K0H2H0). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wilton Standard Church (242 Simmons Rd, Odessa, ON K0H2H0). A burial was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Wilton Cemetery (1845 Fisk Rd, Odessa, ON K0H2H0).
