He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Whitty and Hazel Whitty; and his granddaughter Emily Smith. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Whitty; his daughters, Lori (John Smith) and Heather (Steve Peonidis); his grandchildren, Brieanne, Alex Smith, Nicolas, Christopher, Braeden and Jacob Peonidis; and his siblings, Ray and Doreen Whitty. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
